Donor Privacy Promise
What we do — and never do — with the information you give us when you support our work.
We will never sell your information
Seeds of Morning Glory, Inc. does not sell, rent, trade or otherwise share donor lists with any other organization, for any purpose, ever. Not to other charities, not to list brokers, not as part of a “partnership”.
What we collect when you give
Your name, contact details, and the amount, date and designation of your gift. If you give online, your card details go from your browser directly to our payment processor and are never stored on our systems. We keep only the last four digits and the processor’s reference, so we can find your gift if you call us about it.
How we use it
- To send you a receipt and a thank-you.
- To keep an accurate record for our accounts, our audit and our IRS filings.
- To tell you what your gift achieved, if you want to hear from us.
- To report totals to funders — never itemised by donor without your consent.
Anonymity and recognition
You can give anonymously. If you do, your name will not appear in any published list, annual report or event programme. If you would prefer to be listed a particular way, tell us and we will use it.
Contact preferences
You control how often we contact you and by which channel — email, post, phone, or not at all. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and asking to be removed from fundraising contact does not affect anything else about your relationship with us.
To change your preferences, email seedsofmorningglory@yahoo.com or call (562) 708-5025.
Tax deductibility
Seeds of Morning Glory, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, EIN 37-1882595. Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Where you receive something of value in return — an event ticket, for example — your receipt states which portion is deductible.
